Peer Reviews

Through our peer reviews, we found a lot of useful feedback to improve our innovation. The first piece of feedback we received was that the tab structure on the website was confusing. We already knew this was an issue, but this comment gave us further impetus to fix it. We edited the base code for the website to eliminate the tab overlap.

We received mixed reviews on the color scheme, but we spoke to professional graphic designers and they agreed with our original color scheme as it invoked the spirit of youth and playfulness. We originally chose the colors to represent these qualities.

There were also some comments on the blurriness of some images, which we plan to fix by reuploading them at a higher quality. In addition to fixing the videos, there were many comments that suggested adding videos of people actually playing the games. We felt this was really good feedback, so we filmed some videos with children playing the game as well as high school students and adults to show the diverse group of applicable users.

There was also a request for more information about the actual gameplay, which we thought was great feedback. To fix this we added detailed gameplay instructions along with images of each module to eliminate any confusion.
Overall, we felt the feedback was extremely helpful in helping PuzzleIt be more user-friendly.
